Roadmap, Progress, Number of Users:
Zinadoo launched in September 2006 and since then has accumulated 3,500 users, conducted pan-European trials of the service, undergone four new product updates and a complete revamp of the service. Significantly, the next product update includes global SMS support and providing users with the ability to create a mobile website from their mobile handset; taking the mobility of the service one step further. Recently Nubiq, the company responsible for Zinadoo, partnered with T-Mobile, the Netherlands to run a trial of the Zinadoo service in conjunction with their Web’n’Walk service. This trial, which commenced on the 16th of July, will run for two months and is available at http://tmobile.zinadoo.com . The objective here is to establish what mobile Internet services consumers really want and in turn to help to grow and improve the Zinadoo service. Plans are also in place to deploy the service with an Irish based mobile Operator.
Mobiseer, an extension to the Zinadoo suite is due for release next month. MobiSeer is a Web2.0 service that allows you to discover, organise, tag, share and manage your favourite .mobi mobile websites. You can then mobilise your favourites to your own personal mobile space and you decide what you see when you access the mobile web from your phone.

In minutes, you can easily create a mobile website by adding text, images and some cool interactive features. Zinadoo does the rest by scaling the website to suit all mobile handsets. Zinadoo also gives you with a helping hand with sharing and promoting your mobile website:
1. Share your mobile website by; text, email or to your existing online community using Zinadoo’s sharing features.
2. Zinadoo submits all mobile websites to Google mobile and other mobile search engines.
3. Mobile website search engine optimization; simply add a site description and keywords; then anyone can find your mobile website when they’re out on the move.
What is your business model ?
Zinadoo currently operates under three business models: 1/ Revenue share on all SMS services offered. 2/ Revenue share on the resale of .mobi domains.3/ Nubiq offers a white labelled version of the service.Mobile advertising will be a key revenue stream for Zinadoo in the future. Mobile advertising is already becoming a sizeable portion of any advertisers yearly spend. With companies such as Coca Cola and Peugeot realising the Hugh potential the mobile device offers as a platform for advertising.Zinadoo offers advertisers with a forum for achieving highly interactive, targeted and specific campaigns that can reach market segments more efficiently and effectively.
What are the projects, additional features you’re preparing ?
Nubiq is currently examining partnerships in the Music industry with well known music labels and artists. Using the Zinadoo platform, artists can extend their community and their promotional efforts to the mobile domain.
What are the current users’ feedback, your learnings on the service’s usage ?
Since the launch of Zinadoo in September 2006, the service has undergone numerous changes. One of Nubiq’s key focuses has always been usability and ensuring the service is accessible to all. Feedback from European trials, user usability sessions and reviews, and simple email and support query’s resulted in the redesign of the Zinadoo service. Gathering feedback from users has also contributed to planning future product features. In the past features such as; more site customisation and site interaction features were added due to requests received from users. More recently users have shown a desire to be truly mobile. As a result the next product update will include the ability to create a mobile website from a mobile phone. Examining service usage has enabled Nubiq to establish a site usage profile and the value of the Zinadoo service to users. Mobile sites created fall under various categories including; business, communities, social networking and personal. Understanding our user base has also helped Nubiq decide on and prioritise Zinadoo’s future feature roadmap.
