Here are questions to Eric Kerr Founder AppLoop :
Can you tell us more about your service?
We (AppLoop) built an Application Generator for publishers to distribute their content on mobile platforms. Currently, there are a lot of obstacles to overcome, and it is hard to justify development and project maintenance for most publishers. We’re looking to provide a pain-free solution so that publishers can focus on what they do best – creating great content.
We also integrate an our analytics product into the application, which was previously only available for developers, so that publishers can track usage, popular content, and engagement across their applications.

What is your business model?
Most end publishers have a variety of revenue streams, so we’ll need to accommodate a wide variety of monetization options to be successful. Certain publishers might want to list the application as a paid download. We’ll take 10% of the revenue. We can work with larger publishers to reduce this margin so the revenue share is more enticing.
We’re also be supporting advertising within the content of the applications. Larger publishers typically already have an extensive ad inventory built around their web properties, so we’ll look to support different ways of integrating their existing campaigns into the application with a revenue share deal.
What are the projects, additional features you’re preparing?
We lauched the product as sort of a "lowest common denominator" for the most number of publishers with the intention of getting feedback and improving the product rapidly around demand. Since launching earlier today, we’ve already gotten a ton of demand from large publishers who would like to offload their mobile strategy to us with multiple feeds and categories within the application. We’ve also gotten some fairly interesting demand from a few e-commerce type vendors, who would want to have a feed of featured content with support for a shopping cart. Needless to say, it’s safe to assume that we have a busy (and exciting) couple of months ahead of us.
