Challenger mobile provides mobile telephony services that allow users worldwide to make phone calls via mVoIP (mobile voice over IP). We do this by offering mobile service providers and operators our mVoIP platform as a ‘white-label’ product. Through working with service providers and operators/carriers, we help them to provide their end-users with everything they need to use mVoIP on mobile handsets from major brands (Nokia, SonyEricsson and others), in an easy-to-use and pre-configured manner. We have been active technologists and developers serving the internet telephony market since 2001. Our view of the market today is that an increasing number of mobile handsets that support mVoIP that are coming onto the market from major brands. These handsets are reaching a global audience of end-users. At the same time, to enjoy the benefits of mVoIP the end-user needs a service provider to configure these handsets and also deliver the services that enable making and receiving mVoIP calls. Offering mVoIP to end-users all over the world, in an efficient way, we believe is the next great challenge for the mobile telephony market.

Our solution to this challenge ?
We provide an ideal solution for all mobile service operators or providers: A platform that takes care of everything from configuring mobile handsets remotely to sending billing information to existing billing platforms. We license this platform as a hosted or a non-hosted option.

The time to market for the Challenger hosted solution is very short – in just a few weeks partners can start generating revenues. Again, since it is an all-inclusive offering, our partners do get everything they need to add mVoIP to their own service offering within this very short time from signing with us. And, singing with our ‘white label’ facility, partners can offer their mVoIP service completely under their own brand name.

What new features are coming in our near future ?

We’re adding support for VoIP over 3G networks, additional mobile handsets and many more features for the end customer. For our service provider customers, we’re strengthening the interconnectivity with existing billing and CRM systems for both postpaid and prepaid setups, making integration of mobile VoIP in their existing service offering even easier, we’re also releasing online reporting and management tools as well as many other features aimed at reducing the set-up time for a mobile VoIP service even further.

We are very optimistic about the future. End-users are already experienced with VoIP and are increasingly demanding mVoIP from their mobile operators and service providers. Hence, offering mVoIP is really the next natural step for all mobile service providers and operators who want to listen to their end-users needs and wants. Of course, as with any new service, it needs to both provide clear benefits and be very easy to use. With the Challenger platform, all mobile service providers and operators can deliver mVoIP to their end-users in this way. Test with Nokia N95
